Thread of the message « u4gm Where Can You Easily Find Light Bulbs in Arc Raiders »

Funny thing about Arc Raiders—most people jump in thinking the hardest grind is gonna be chasing those big-ticket drops. You know, the flashy Epics or the elusive Legendaries. But nope. Sometimes the biggest headache comes from stuff that’s meant to be common. Like the Uncommon Light Bulb. The menu calls it “Uncommon,” but in practice, it can feel rarer than the high-end loot. And if you’ve got that Expedition Project lined up, you’re gonna need five of them, which can be a real pain. I’ve run through raid after raid without spotting one, and it’s enough to make you question your life choices when you could be farming other ARC Raiders Items instead.

The game tells you to focus on “Electrical locations,” which technically isn’t wrong. You’ll find the occasional bulb in a tech room or office shelf. But honestly, I’ve wasted hours scouring those spots only to leave empty‑handed. The trick? Stop poking around buildings and start paying attention to the streets. Wrecked cars are your best bet. Those dusty old rides lying around are loot magnets for this item, and once you know that, the grind feels way less hopeless.

If you want a solid route, Dam Battlegrounds is gold. Head for the Generator Hall first—check the car parked right near the extraction point. Not gonna sugarcoat it, this place is out in the open, so you’ll want to watch for snipers and roaming squads. Oh, and there’s usually a Rocketeer lurking around wanting to ruin your day. Clear the area quick, grab the loot, then swing over to the Electrical Substation. There’s another car there that often drops a bulb. Two cars in one run could mean two bulbs down before you even think about heading out.

If the Dam’s too hot, Blue Gate makes for a great change‑up. The Checkpoint area is basically a vehicle graveyard. We’re talking rows and rows of lootable cars. Run the full line, pop every trunk, check every hood—it’s fast work and the odds are heavily in your favour. I’ve had runs here where I’ve grabbed more bulbs than I actually needed, and that’s saying something. Luck can swing, sure, but the sheer number of containers means you’re way more likely to come out smiling.

Once you switch focus from random interiors to cars on these maps, the bulb grind changes completely. You’ll be done with that project before you know it, and then you can sink your time into chasing more exciting drops or grabbing other ARC Raiders Items for sale while you’re out there shooting stuff.U4GM provides curated ARC Raiders gear to help you complete operations faster and dominate high-risk zones.
