Thread of the message « Keyboard problem »
[Subject] Posted 11/26/2004 at 04:09 by Zaphod Down
Hi,
I have a new problem.
I just started editing php files and discovered, I can't use square braclets [] and rounded braclets {} because on my keyboard I acces the opening square braclet whith Alt Gr + f and the opening rounded braclet whith Alt Gr + b
As you know, Alt Gr + f is a shortcut for opening the Font dialog box while Alt Gr + b inserts <blockquote></blockquote> tags into the document.
Is there a possibility to turn this shortcuts off?

Hi,
Zaphod

Hi Zaphod,

> Is there a possibility to turn this shortcuts off?

Yes, in the Options: General -> Appearence -> "Deactivate menu extended shortcuts (Ctrl+Alt)"

NB: Ctrl+Alt <=> Alt_Gr

What is your current code page ?
I will add it to the list to automatically check the option at first start-up.

By the way, in release 3.2, users will be able to customize all menu shortcuts.
