Cant seem to get HTML help to take me direct to the right help page: Downloaded the zipped HTML 4 reference from www.htmlhelp.com/distribution
Extracted it to c:\htmlhelp (which leaves a number of subdirectories categorised by area with individual files eg blockquote.html)
Help: Help for HtmlMenu: Choose: "Folder with file tagname.html" Browse to c:\htmlhelp
But pressing F1 only brings up the index file ??
(scratches his head
Thanks for a terrific piece of software. It gets used everyday

Hi GypsumBlue,
> Cant seem to get HTML help to take me direct to the right help page: > Downloaded the zipped HTML 4 reference from www.htmlhelp.com/distribution
I don't know this; from htlhelp.com, I used the .hlp help file format.
> Extracted it to c:\htmlhelp > (which leaves a number of subdirectories categorised by area with individual > files eg blockquote.html)
For this kind of help, all files should be in the same directory. > But pressing F1 only brings up the index file ??
Because, it doesn't find the asked page, it makes redirection to index.html
> Thanks for a terrific piece of software. It gets used everyday
You are welcome.

Hello I don't understand the following.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Are you leading us to download the html help files from htlhelp.com?
Where should the extracted HTML hlp files be placed? You say the same directory, but which one? The root of HAPEdit?
Gypsum blue was able to 'get it' but I haven't been able to so far.
How about fonts? I noticed that there are no selection when you pull the font window?
Thanks for a great editor, I'm just learning how to use it now. I'm coming from a very low skill background so it's understandable that I'd have trouble but others more expereiced would not.
Best regards RobRoy
